Air-Gapped Kubernetes Solution
DevOps bootcamp final project
- Designed architecture for a no-internet EKS cluster using eksctl and AWS CDK resulting in enhanced cluster security and low latency access.
- Automated cluster management using Karpenter for autoscaling and CloudWatch Container Insights for observability, providing a production-ready Kubernetes environment.
- Implemented a GitOps solution using GitLab Repository Mirroring to a local separate VPC repository, bootstrapped cluster with ArgoCD ensuring continuous and secure deployment.
Monorepo CI/CD Workflow
- Automated semantic-versioning process for each microservice utilizing Conventional Commits in GitLab CI allowing for smooth integration across multiple systems.
- Imported each service to Docker images with Buildah for image building providing a secure integration pipeline.
